About Mitta Lodge

The Club's MITTA LODGE is situated on the banks of the Mitta River out of Omeo and is available for use by Club members and their guests. 

RULES FOR RENTAL OF MITTA LODGE

Current Fees as shown below may only be varied by motion and majority vote at an Ordinary Meeting.

Members & Family
$15.00 per night per person.

Guests.
$20.00 per night per person.
Guests must be accompanied by a member.

Bookings for 12 months open immediately following the AGM each year, and can only be made by logging in on the website and completing the booking form or if a Member does not have internet facility phone Mick Rosenboom 0418839589 or Matt Cole 0418396161.

Only two bookings may be made at any time and only one of these bookings may include a public holiday, except on an occasion where a public holiday or a vacancy is still available 14 days prior to its date.

Bookings normally limited to 7 days duration.

Fees can be paid prior to your visit or must be paid within 7 days of your stay, by Electronic Funds Transfer to BFFC Westpac Bank Bairnsdale BSB033203 Account 151715. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with a statement providing dates of occupancy member/guest details and the amount paid should follow.


It is the responsibility of the tenant to provide fuel unleaded petrol (No Ethanol, fuel containers must be stored in the shed)

Linen, blankets, sleeping bags etc. The lodge has 1 queen size bed and 10 single bunks with inner spring mattresses.

The tenant is to supply, washing up cloths, tea towels, towels, bath mats and toiletries including toilet paper. Washing up cloths, tea towels, towels, bath mats and toiletries must be removed on vacating the lodge.

Any breakages or damage must be reported, in the case of replaceable items, the member will be responsible for finding a similar replacement.

Acknowledgement

The Club acknowledges Sport and Recreation Victoria through the COUNTRY ACTION GRANT SCHEME for the funding to originally set up this website in 2013. In 2024 with the assistance through the Victorian Government STRONGER FISHING CLUBS GRANT SCHEME the Club was provided with funds to completely update the site with the latest software and security systems.
